District contest was great! Big congrats to Wise Guys Reunion (yes, Wise Guys is back together!) winning the district championship and the Heralds of Harmony for qualifying yet again for international! It was great seeing everyone and making the hospitality room rounds, we can't wait to see everyone again at Spring contest!

Another amazing Sunshine District Labor Day Jamboree! We had a blast singing and hanging with all our friends at this year's LDJ. The new site in Orlando proved to be an terrific place, even if the sinks leak! If you've got nothing to do next year over the Labor Day weekend come on down to Florida! http://ldj.moonfruit.com.

SIZZLE! It did just that. What a great show and event to be apart of. The audience was amazing as usual, we just love singing for our own district! We had a blast chatting with everyone and the youth chorus was unbelievable! Fred, great as always. What a blast!

It's true, Rounders has a new Bass (Myron Whittlesey, check out his bio), Dan's singing Baritone, and we're not competing in Indy because of the timing of our personnel change, but we're still there: Alex is competing in the College Contest with Ebbets Field, Myron and Dan are also there hanging out and singing tags, and our CD's recording engineer, Mark Hornsby, bought the back cover of the Convention program to congratulate us on our 2 CARAs! Good luck to every competitor this week, you've worked hard to get there, and we're cheering for you all!

Information

Rounders is one of the most musical quartets to hit the barbershop stage in years — with their smooth blend and strong sense of rhythm, they are taking the world of barbershop harmony by storm in just a short time on the scene. In just over a year since forming, they have placed 12th in the world at the International Barbershop Harmony contest in 2004, won the Sunshine District (Florida) quartet championship, and released their debut (and now CARA award-winning) recording, "I Wanna Be Around".
