Alex Rubin
Alex joined the Society at the young age of 9. Initially tagging along with his older brother, Dan, Alex quickly made the hobby his own, becoming Assistant Director of his chorus when he was just 15 years old, and singing actively in many local quartets.
Though he’s the youngest member of “Rounders”, his age has not prevented him from gathering some impressive credits, including Co-Director of the award-winning Fort Lauderdale Sunshine Chordsmen Chorus (1999-present), Lead of Autograph (ranked in the top 25 Internationally), Tenor of Penny Arcade (singing with Gold Medalist Roger Ross of Keepsake), Tenor of Copyright and most recently sang Baritone with Ebbets Field a collegiate quartet who finished third in international competition in 2006. With all of his quartetting he’s already competed on the International stage 7 times and has three state championships on three different voice parts!
Alex spends what spare time he has working on chapter and chorus projects, and with his fiancée Jennifer. Alex is a partner in a web design and consulting agency with his brother Dan.
